Skipjack "Nathan of Dorchester" - built by local volunteers to preserve and promote the wooden boat-building heritage of the region, the Nathan is a living museum. Cruises offer passengers the opportunity to experience life on a skipjack; help raise her sails, take a turn at the helm and learn how oysters were traditionally harvested. Groups welcome.

Betterton Beach Waterfront Park - this 5 acre landscaped, family oriented waterfront park is the largest of two public beaches in the county on the Chesapeake Bay.
